Ingredients
1/2 cup (50g) rolled oats
1/2 cup (125ml) of unsweetened plant milk (we like almond or oat)
1/4 tsp vanilla extractÂ
1 tsp pure maple syrup (optional)
Preparation
In an airtight container (mason jars are perfect), mix together.
Put in the fridge overnight.
Serve with blueberries and chopped almonds.
Top tip: If you don't have time for breakfast at home, just add some frozen blueberries to the overnight mix, put some almonds and a spoon in your work bag and grab and go in the morning.
If you're like us and think breakfast can be eaten at any time of day, then this one makes a nutritious lunch option too.
And if you're feeling organised, get two suitable containers and make double, it'll last a couple of days in the fridge if you use fresh ingredients.
